Why It Started
After years of leading technology, marketing, and ai/ automation as VP of Innovation, I noticed something:
Every business talks about innovation - but few know how to actually build it into their daily operations.
At most companies, the pieces exist - data that could drive smarter decisions, tools that could automate repetitive work, and teams capable of creating content that builds trust. But those pieces rarely talk to each other.
That’s where The Innovation Department began. It started as a way to connect those dots - to help businesses use AI, automation, data, and content not as buzzwords, but as building blocks for real growth.
The Innovation Department helps modern businesses:
Automate what slows them down
Turn messy data into insight and action
Create content that attracts and converts
Build scalable systems that don’t depend on heroics
We call these our Four Pillars of Innovation - AI & Automation, Data (CRM), Content Creation, and Go-to-Market. Together, they form a practical roadmap for building a smarter, more efficient company.
Innovation doesn’t have to come from a lab.
It can come from the maintenance bay, the sales floor, or a single spreadsheet that’s finally automated.
The Innovation Department exists to make those breakthroughs possible - to turn the complex into something simple, repeatable, and useful.
Through The Loop, our weekly newsletter and podcast, we share experiments, playbooks, and real-world examples of what happens when data, content, and automation start working together.
To help people and teams spend less time wrestling with systems - and more time building what’s next.
